28 JANUARY 2026, VANCOUVER, BC. Last 24 January 2026, PCG Vancouver, represented by Vice Consul Marco Harder, attended Mabuhay House Society’s 2025 Annual General Meeting at the Creekside Community Center.
In the meeting, MHS presented updates on its activities in 2025, its current financial standing, and outlined their 2026 roadmap showing activities directly related to their mission. MLA Adrian Dix (Vancouver-Kingsway) inducted Mabuhay House Society’s new board of directors after the presentations.
In 2025, PCG Vancouver worked with Mabuhay House Society in several activities such as the Post-Arrival Orientation Seminar last July 2025 and the Safe Spaces, Safe Communities forum in December 2025 as part of the Consulate’s efforts to engage with Filipino Community Organizations in British Columbia, Yukon, and Northwest Territories. This allows the Consulate to stay abreast of the developments within the community, as well as find opportunities to collaborate on initiatives that serve Filipinos in its jurisdiction. END
