VANCOUVER 08 December 2025 – The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver formally opened the exhibit “Architectural Works of Filipino Architects in Canada” on 04 December 2025, organized by the United Architects of the Philippines – British Columbia Chapter (UAP-BC), highlighting the contributions of Filipino architects to Canada’s built environment.
The exhibit features architectural works by UAP-BC members and reflects the creativity and technical expertise of Filipino architects practicing in British Columbia and other parts of Canada. Through this display, UAP-BC aims to increase public appreciation of architecture while recognizing the role of Filipino professionals in shaping Canadian communities.
UAP-BC President Architect Fredelyn Bernabe-Ramos addressed guests during the opening program, underscoring the Chapter’s mission to support Filipino architects and promote collaboration, professional growth, and community engagement.
In her welcome remarks, Consul General Gina A. Jamoralin commended the officers and members of UAP-BC for organizing the exhibit and thanked them for their efforts in promoting Filipino excellence. She reiterated the Consulate’s commitment to supporting cultural and professional initiatives that highlight the positive contributions of Filipinos in British Columbia.
