Vancouver BC, 20 May 2025 – Cebuano Society in Vancouver President Antonio Ortega, paid a courtesy call on Consul General Gina A. Jamoralin at the Consulate on 16 May 2025.Mr. Ortega was accompanied by Mr. Kenneth Tan, Sales Representative of Tambuli Seaside Living and his team.
The Cebuano Society in Vancouver is a Filipino-Canadian community organization that brings together individuals in Vancouver, Canada, who trace their roots to Cebu or identify as Cebuano-speaking Filipinos. The society is dedicated to promoting Cebuano culture and heritage within the Filipino diaspora, fostering community through social events, cultural programs, and outreach initiatives. It also celebrates regional traditions, language, and festivals from Cebu, while providing a supportive network for Cebuanos and their families living in or around Vancouver.
The Society also took the opportunity to update the Consulate on its ongoing and upcoming activities, highlighting initiatives aimed at fostering community engagement and promoting Cebuano culture within the Filipino-Canadian community
During the courtesy call, the Cebuano Society in Vancouver introduced Tambuli Seaside Living to the Consulate, showcasing a mixed-use residential and resort development project located in Maribago, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. END
