08 May 2023 - Consul General Arlene Magno received Yukon Premier Ranj Pillai who was in Vancouver for meetings on his return travel from Ottawa.  Over breakfast at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Downtown Vancouver, ConGen Magno and Premier Pillai discussed updates on the implementing guidelines for the PH-Yukon MOU on the Employment and Protection of Filipinos under the Yukon Nominee Program and potential cooperation in education, healthcare, tourism and agriculture.  Premier Pillai speaks highly of the Filipino community in Yukon and intends to continue working closely with the president of the Canadian Filipino Association of the Yukon on how to better help the community.END
