Visit of Senator Yohan Martin at the Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver

VANCOUVER 26 January 2026 - Consul General Gina Jamoralin welcomed Senator Yonah Martin of the Conservative Party at the Philippine Consulate for a courtesy call on 22 January 2026. Their meeting exchanged views on upcoming activities that support the Filipino community’s engagement as well as issues affecting Filipinos in the province. Both noted the positive contributions of the Filipino community and the importance of maintaining strong support for their welfare. Senator Yonah Martin is the Vice-Chair of the Canada–Philippines Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group (CPIPFG).

Both sides expressed their interest in working more closely and continuing collaboration to enhance Philippines–Canada relations. Consul General Jamoralin extended an invitation for Senator Martin to attend future events at the Consulate. END
