VANCOUVER 28 November 2025 - Philippine Consul General Gina A. Jamoralin welcomed Ms. Lynne Gonzaga, Director for Marketing of A Lâque Wine, together with Mr. Bjorne Villaruel, CEO & Winemaker, and Mr. RJ Peralta, COO, during their courtesy call at the Philippine Consulate.

The company showcased its inaugural fruit-based wines made in Canada by Filipino creators, featuring calamansi and Philippine mangoes as flavor profiles and packaging inspired by Philippine cultural icons such as the jeepney and Maria Clara dress. Produced in small batches with raw materials sourced from British Columbia’s Okanagan Region and Ontario, the wines will be launched on 08 December 2025 through an e-commerce platform. A Lâque Wine CEO Mr. Villaruel attended Vancouver PCG’s Philippine Business Session for Filipino-Canadian Entrepreneurs held on 14 August 2025 in Vancouver and benefitted from the relevant information shared during the session.

The activity emphasized the Consulate’s ongoing commitment to showcasing Philippine culture, products, and entrepreneurship through the active participation of the Filipino-Canadian community.END
