08 June 2022 – Consul General Maria Andrelita Austria joined the 40th Anniversary celebration of the Filipino Seniors Club of British Columbia held on 4 June 2022 at St. Patrick’s Recreation Center in Vancouver.
In her remarks, Consul General Austria read the message of Philippine Ambassador to Canada Rodolfo D. Robles congratulating FSCBC for providing wholistic programs and services for the well-being of Filipino-Canadian seniors. Consul General Austria also conveyed her appreciation to FSCBC for exemplifying the best of the Filipino community in British Columbia and expressed hope that other organizations will follow FSCBC’s lead. She also invited the Filipino community to experience the Philippines and celebrate everything Filipino at “Proudly Philippines – Philippine Food and Travel Fair” to be held at Robson Square in Vancouver on 11 June 2022. Consul General Austria was joined by Consul Analyn Ratonel.
The Filipino Seniors Club of British Columbia is a non-profit and charitable organization founded in June 1982 which aimed at providing programs and services to meet the social, mental, emotional, and basic needs of Filipino-Canadian seniors. END
