Vancouver, BC, 15 May 2026 - Vancouver PCG Consul General Gina A. Jamoralin joined H. E. Jose Victor Chan-Gonzaga, PH Ambassador to Canada, in a meeting with President and CEO Peter Fu of Frobisher International Enterprise, Ltd. on 08 May 2026 in order to encourage Frobisher to increase its importation of seafood products from the Philippines. Frobisher has mentioned PH milkfish (bangus), tilapia, and pampano as their best sellers from the Philippines. The PH side expressed interest in collaborating with  Frobisher to ensure sustainable seafood supply from PH and help increase demand from the almost one million Filipinos in Canada. Possible areas for collaboration include Frobisher’s participation in IFEX Philippines (International Food, Beverage, and Ingredients Trade Show) in Manila on 21-23 May 2026; Frobisher’s investments in PH aqua industry; Frobisher’s supply of seafood products for PH restaurants and retail stores in Canada including a product demonstration event; and PH’s matching of seafood suppliers from the Philippines.
