The Philippines Joins 2022 Outdoor Adventure and Travel Show in Vancouver

08 March 2022 - The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver, together with the Philippine Department of Tourism San Francisco and Philippine Airlines Vancouver Office, participated in the 2022 Outdoor Adventure and Travel Show held at the Vancouver Convention Center from 5 to 6 March 2022.

The two-day event, considered the largest and best attended consumer show in British Columbia, featured the latest outdoor gear and information on travel attractions. The event was participated in by over 250 exhibitors from various sports industry and combined a retail shopping experience with simulated outdoor, interactive features and education.  Presentations and information sessions were also conducted by seasoned adventure travelers and industry experts.  Mr. Allan Coo, Country Manager of Philippine Airlines - Canada, gave a briefing on Philippine destinations.

Also held simultaneously was the Vancouver Bike Show which attracted guests with its latest bikes, E-Bike Test Track, and special offers from some of the best cycling brands.

The Philippine booth distributed tourism materials including pamphlets and brochures on the Philippines’ best destination sites --Palawan, Boracay, Cebu and Bohol. Assorted freebies such as Its More Fun the Philippines’ tote bags and pens were given out to guests. END
