The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver, in partnership with the Migrant Workers’ Office – Vancouver and Mabuhay House Society, invites our kababayan to register in the upcoming one-day Seminar on Safe Spaces, Safe Communities: Commemorating the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women. In this Seminar, the following topics will be discussed: The Safe Spaces Act (RA 11313); Practical Strategies for Women’s Personal Safety (c/o Vancouver Police Department); Understanding Workplace Violence; and Building Safe and Inclusive Communities.
