Philippine Consulate General Distributes Care Packages to Flooding Victims in Abbotsford B.C.

08 December 2021 – The Philippine Consulate General and OWWA-Vancouver distributed care packages to Filipino workers in Abbotsford, British Columbia, who were affected by the recent floodings in the province. The distribution took place at St. Anne Catholic Church through the kind intercession of Father Richard Zanotti who accommodated the Consulate’s request to use the church’s facility.

Some seventeen (17) workers and their families were able to claim their care packages either in person or through their representatives. The care packages contained ready-to-eat food, coffee mix and warm clothing. St. Anne’s Parish also kindly contributed additional clothes and personal hygiene items to the packages. END
