VANCOUVER, 25 May 2023 – Consul General Arlene T. Magno and Consul Analyn D. Ratonel attended Dahong Pilipino’s 30th Anniversary Celebration held on 19 May 2023 at the Fraserview Banquet Hall in Vancouver.
Dahong Pilipino is a Filipino-Canadian business and community directory in British Columbia. It is a vital resource for the community, providing information and connections to Filipino businesses, organizations, and individuals.
In her remarks, Consul General Magno expressed appreciation to Dahong Pilipino for serving as a bridge between the Filipino community and the wider Canadian society, allowing Filipinos to showcase their talents, skills and contributions. Consul General Magno likewise took this opportunity to urge the Filipino community to support the establishment of a Filipino Cultural Center in Metro Vancouver, which would provide a space for the community to come together and celebrate what it means to be a Filipino.
