22 December 2025, Vancouver, B.C. – Consul General Gina Jamoralin delivered a message during the induction ceremony and Christmas Party of Pinoy Canada BC Association, one of the largest Filipino-Canadian associations in British Columbia on 19 December 2025 at the Scottish Cultural Center in Vancouver.
In her message, Consul General Jamoralin extended her warm Christmas greetings to the Filipino community, expressing joy in being together for an occasion that celebrates both faith and community leadership. She also congratulated the newly elected officers of Pinoy Canada BC Association and commended them for their willingness to serve the community. She also reiterated the Philippine Consulate General’s call for Filipinos to register as a Philippine Overseas Voter for the 2028 Philippine elections. Consul General Jamoralin informed the guests that the registration for overseas voting has started on December 1, 2025 and it will be until September 30, 2027.
The event was honored by the presence of Ms. Mable Elmore and Mr. Steve Kooner, both Members of the Legislative Assembly in British Columbia for Vancouver-Kensington and Richmond-Queensborough, respectively. A visiting Councillor from the Municipality of Mangaldan, Pangasinan, Ms. Lovely Lian Clava-Maramba was also in attendance at the event and was able to reconnect with some of her provincemates. END.
