PH Consul General Accepts Chairmanship of the ASEAN Consuls General in Vancouver (ACGV)

Vancouver, B.C. 19 December 2025 – Consul General Gina Jamoralin received the rotating chairmanship of the ASEAN Consuls General in Vancouver (ACGV) from Malaysian Acting Consul General Padli bin Ahmad during a hand-over ceremony at the Malaysian Consulate General.

Consul General Jamoralin presented the program of activities under the Philippine chairmanship and the Consuls General expressed their full support and suggested ideas for the program.  The Philippine Consulate General will be ACGV Chair from January to June 2026.

The ACGV is composed of five ASEAN Consulates General based in Vancouver, namely, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. END
