PCG Vancouver Inducts CPABC Officers at its 40th Anniversary Gala

20 OCTOBER 2025, COQUITLAM, BC. On 11 October 2025, PCG Vancouver attended the 40th anniversary of Circulo Pampangueno Association of British Columbia (CPABC) and inducted their new set of officers for the term 2026-2028 at Executive Plaza Hotel in Coquitlam. Vice Consul Marco Harder represented the Consulate and administered the oaths to CPABC’s new set of officers.

In her remarks, incoming CPABC president Edith Montemayor for 2026-2028 reaffirmed her commitment to continuing the organization’s tradition of finding opportunities to help kababayan in the provinces of Pampanga and Tarlac through scholarships and other initiatives. Outgoing president Salve Dayao, for her part, thanked the organization’s support during her term and pledged her support to the organization and its new set of officers.

British Columbia hosts a diverse network of Filipino community organizations focusing on cultural promotion, heritage and geographical affinity, professional networking, and other areas of common interest. The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver continues to engage the Filipino diaspora through the various community organizations in BC, Yukon, and the Northwest Territories to ensure that it is able to serve Filipinos in its jurisdiction more effectively.  END
