NOTICE OF RESUMPTION OF OVERSEAS VOTER REGISTRATION FROM 01 DECEMBER 2025 TO 30 SEPTEMBER 2027
In accordance with Republic Act No. 9189, as amended by Republic Act No. 10590, and COMELEC Resolution No. 11171, all Filipino citizens abroad are invited to register as overseas voters for the upcoming 2028 Philippine Elections.
The registration period will start on 01 DECEMBER 2025 until 30 SEPTEMBER 2027.
You may register if you meet the following requirements:
1. A citizen of the Philippines, not otherwise disqualified by law
2. At least 18 years old on or before 08 May 2028
Where to file?
All qualified Filipino citizens who are not yet registered overseas voters may file their applications for registration/certification:
• At any Philippine Embassy, Consulate, Manila Economic and Cultural Office, or designated Post abroad, or
• At designated registration centers in the Philippines
What to bring?
Applicants are advised to bring the following requirements:
For Filipinos who have a work or student permit:
1. Original and photocopy of valid PH passport
2. Original and photocopy of current work or study permit
For Filipinos who possess permanent residency (PR) in Canada:
1. Original and photocopy of valid PH passport
2. Original and photocopy of PR card
For Filipino dual citizens:
1. Original and photocopy of Identification Certificate / Oath of Allegiance / Order of Approval issued during reacqusition of PH Citizenship
2. Original and photocopy of secondary identification (eg. Passport, BC ID, etc.)
