New Thai Consul General to Vancouver Meets with the Philippine Consul General

VANCOUVER 23 March 2026 - Philippine Consul General Gina A. Jamoralin received the newly appointed Consul General of Thailand, Nattanipa Burusapat, who paid a courtesy call at the Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver.

Consul General Burusapat arrived in Vancouver on 19 March 2026, succeeding Consul General Thanapol Wang-Om-Klang, who completed his tour of duty in September 2025. She joined the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1993, with her first foreign posting in Manila in 2002.

The meeting gave both Consuls General a chance to discuss recent global developments and their impact on their two countries’ shared priorities, such as food security, renewable energy, and oil prices. They also reaffirmed their commitment to continued cooperation and open dialogue in Vancouver on issues of mutual interest. END
