Maritime & Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANA Mo) 2021

The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver celebrates Maritime & Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANA Mo) this September per Presidential Proclamation No. 316 (2017). This year’s theme is “Our Seas, Our Livelihood, Our Heritage: Connecting Lives and Nations”.

As part of the Philippine celebration of the MANA Mo, the Philippine Department of Environment and Natural Resources – Biodiversity Management Bureau (DENR-BMB) has prepared films called “Philippine Priority Seascapes Documentaries” to highlight the archipelagic nature of the country.

The Consulate would like to invite the members of the Filipino community and other interested stakeholders to watch the MANA Mo: Philippine Priority Seascapes Documentaries featuring the country’s priority seascapes namely, the West Philippine Sea (WPS), the Philippine Rise Marine Resource Reserve (PRMRR) and the Verde Island Passage (VIP).

The documentaries may be viewed through the following links:
