Day of the Seafarer – 25 June 2023

The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver joins the nation in commemorating the Day of the Seafarer on 25 June 2023 with the theme, “MARPOL at 50 – Our commitment goes on“, highlighting the crucial role of seafarers in safeguarding the oceans and marine ecosystems. This annual international commemorative event is coordinated by the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
