06 June 2023 – The Philippines’ Department of Tourism (DOT) – San Francisco, in coordination with the Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver, launched the “Bisita Be My Guest” (BBMG) program at the Proudly Philippines: Food and Travel Fair on 03 June 2023 at the Robson Square in Downtown Vancouver.

The BBMG is a travel incentive program encouraging Overseas Filipino Workers and Filipinos with dual citizenship living in the Philippines or abroad as residents to invite their foreign relatives, friends and colleagues to visit the Philippines.  The campaign, which will end in April 2024, is led by DOT and the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW).

PDOT-San Francisco Tourism Attaché / Director Soleil Tropicales announced during the launch that registered participants, namely the sponsors (Filipinos) and invitees (foreign nationals) will be entitled to a raffle ticket and will have the chance to win special prizes.  These prizes include condominium units from Megaworld Corporation and SMDC, a house and lot from Amaia Land, and travel packages from the Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, and Nay Palad in Siargao.
