The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver is pleased to announce that it will hold a Saturday overseas registration for the 2028 Philippine National Election on:
Date: Saturday, 29 August 2026
Time: 10:00am to 12:00pm and 01:00pm to 3:00pm
Venue: Philippine Consulate General, 999 Canada Place, Suite 660 (6th floor), Vancouver BC
Who is qualified to register as OV?
● A citizen of the Philippines, not otherwise disqualified by law
● At least 18 years old on or before 08 May 2028 (Election Day)
● Former Filipino who reacquired Philippine citizenship by virtue of RA 9225 or
Citizenship Retention & Re-acquisition Act of 2003 (Dual Citizenship Act)
● Filipino permanent residents,
● Filipino who will be residing, working, or studying in Canada by 08 May 2028
Please prepare the following documents prior to registration:
● Valid Philippine Passport;
● Proof of status in Canada (e.g. student, worker, permanent resident, or immigrant)
● For dual citizens: Original or Certified True Copy of the Order of Approval of
Filipino citizenship or Identification Certificate in lieu of a Philippine passport.
● For seafarers: Seafarer’s Identification Record Book (Seafarer’s Book).
Upon your arrival at the main door of the World Trade Center (999 Canada Place), please contact the Assistance to Nationals (ATN) Hotline at +1 604 653 5858. After which, a Consulate staff will allow your entry to the building.
