Vancouver, BC, 28 July 2026 – The Resident Election Registration Board (RERB), chaired by Deputy Consul General Paul Vincent L. Uy, conducted its second hearing on 20 July 2026 at the Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver.
During the hearing, the RERB deliberated on applications filed from 01 April to 30 June 2026 as part of the continuing overseas voter registration in preparation for the 08 May 2028 National and Local Elections.
The proceedings were conducted in accordance with Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Resolution No. 11171, Rules and Regulations on the Conduct of Continuing Registration for Overseas Voting for Purposes of the 08 May 2028 National and Local Elections.
The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver remains committed to safeguarding the integrity of the overseas voting process and ensuring that all qualified Filipino citizens abroad are afforded the opportunity to exercise their right to vote in the 2028 National and Local Elections. END
