ADVISORY 2026-019: PUBLIC ADVISORY: WILDFIRE SAFETY, MONITORING, AND EMERGENCY REGISTRATION IN BRITISH COLUMBIA

PUBLIC ADVISORY: WILDFIRE SAFETY, MONITORING, AND EMERGENCY REGISTRATION IN BRITISH COLUMBIA

The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver advises all members of the Filipino community in British Columbia—particularly those residing, working, or traveling in the Fraser Canyon, Thompson-Nicola, Cariboo, and interior regions—to exercise extreme caution due to active wildfires across the province.

Major active wildfires, including the Brunswick Creek and Ainslie Creek fires near Boston Bar, have triggered Evacuation Orders and Alerts in affected areas.
