VANCOUVER 10 July 2026 - Philippine Consul General Gina A. Jamoralin welcomed Defense and Armed Forces Attaché BGen Roy Anthony O. Derilo during his courtesy call at the Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver on 6 July 2026.

Consul General Jamoralin thanked DAFA Derilo for his strong support during the Official Visit of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. to Vancouver from 01 to 04 July 2026. The Consul General noted his important role in helping ensure that all activities, including the Filipino community gathering, were quiet, orderly, and free from any incidents.

DAFA Derilo also shared his work on strengthening Defense Security and Economic Stability through Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO). He explained that MRO is an important part of international defense cooperation because it ensures operational readiness and reduces reliance on distant supply chains—key elements in advancing the Philippines’ long‑term security and economic stability.

DAFA Derilo joined the undersigned and the Philippine Ambassador Jose Victor Chan-Gonzaga during the official welcome and send-off of the President and the First Lady on July 1 and July 4, 2026, respectively.END
