Philippine Consul General Gina A. Jamoralin hosted a Thanksgiving Lunch for the officers and staff of the Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver and its attached agencies in Vancouver - Migrant Workers Office (MWO), Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), and Social Security System (SSS) - in recognition of their dedication and exemplary service during the successful official visit of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to Vancouver from 1 to 4 July 2026.
Held at the Consulate's Conference Room, the gathering served as an opportunity to express appreciation to all officers and staff whose professionalism, teamwork, and commitment contributed to the smooth and successful implementation of the President's official engagements in Vancouver.
In her remarks, Consul General Jamoralin commended everyone for their unwavering dedication, long hours of work, and spirit of cooperation before, during, and after the visit. She emphasized that the successful conduct of the Presidential Visit was made possible through the collective efforts of the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa, Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver and its attached agencies in Vancouver, PTIC-Toronto, and the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), working together with a shared commitment to public service and excellence.
