The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver located at 999 Canada Place, Vancouver, B.C., is now accepting applications for the position of General Utility Personnel.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the properties and premises of the Philippine Consulate General including the official residence, common areas, workspaces, and facilities;
Assist in the arrangement and preparation of meeting rooms and office events;
Perform basic maintenance and utility tasks as needed;
Monitor and replenish cleaning and pantry supplies;
Provide administrative, logistic and general support during events or activities hosted by the Consul General and/or Post; and
Perform other duties/functions/ services that may be required in the exigency of the service and as determined by the Head of Post.
Qualifications:
Preferably female, of legal age, Canadian citizen or any nationality with permanent residency status in Canada;
Physically fit and able to perform administrative and maintenance-related tasks;
Trustworthy, reliable, and hardworking;
Speaks English;
With good interpersonal skills and positive work attitude;
Previous related work experience is an advantage; and
No derogatory record or background with previous employer or authorities.
