Vancouver, BC, 15 May 2026 - Vancouver PCG Consul General Gina A. Jamoralin joined H. E. Jose Victor Chan-Gonzaga, PH Ambassador to Canada, in meeting with Mr. Peter Xotta, CEO of Vancouver Fraser Port Authority on 07 May 2026 in order to discuss possible areas of collaboration between the Philippine Ports Authority and the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority. Both sides agreed that bilateral trade is the major enabler of business connection between the two ports. As such, the need to increase imports and exports on both sides has been emphasized, targeting the current major products being exchanged by both countries at present. Inviting cruise ships to add the Philippines as a port of call has also been suggested as Vancouver is a main origin of several cruise packages. END
