Overseas Voting

Who is qualified to register as an overseas voter ?
  • A citizen of the Philippines, not otherwise disqualified by law
  • At least 18 years old on or before 08 May 2028 (Election Day)
  • Former Filipino who reacquired Philippine citizenship by virtue of RA 9225 or Citizenship Retention & Re-acquisition Act of 2003 (Dual Citizenship Act)
  • Filipino permanent residents,
  • Filipino who will be residing, working, or studying in Canada by 08 May 2028
Please prepare the following documents prior to registration:
  1. Valid Philippine Passport; In the absence of a valid passport, a Certification of the Consulate.
  2. Proof of status in Canada (e.g. tourist, student, worker, permanent resident, or immigrant)
  3. For dual citizens: Original or Certified True Copy of the Order of Approval of Filipino citizenship or Identification Certificate.
  4. For seafarers: Seafarer’s Identification Record Book (Seafarer’s Book).
No appointment is needed. Exercise your right to vote!
