The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver joins the nation in celebration of the 2023 National Heritage Month. This year’s theme, Heritage: Change and Continuity, highlights the dynamic nature of heritage as a field that continuously innovates so it can achieve its objective of preserving products of human creativity.
The Philippines observes the month of May as National Heritage Month by virtue of Presidential Proclamation No. 439, which aims to actively foster consciousness, respect, and love for the nation's culture and history among Filipinos.
