Vancouver PCG Hosts Virtual Kapihan on Philippine National Elections

03 March 2022 - The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver hosted two batches of Virtual Kapihan on Philippine National Elections.  The first session was held on 24 February 2022 for the leaders of Filipino community organizations while the 2nd batch was scheduled on 02 March 2022 for media personalities.

The Kapihan sa Konsulado is one of the initiatives of the Consulate to engage the media and members of the Filipino community through informal gatherings.

Consul General Maria Andrelita S. Austria discussed the Certified List of Overseas Voters (CLOV), mode of voting, important dates to remember, OV hotline, statistics on newly registered voters, and other matters relating to Overseas Voting for the 2022 Philippine National Elections.

Consul General Austria also requested the assistance of the media and Filipino community organizations in disseminating significant information on Philippine overseas voting. END
