VANCOUVER 21 August 2025 – The officers of the United Architects of the Philippines – British Columbia Chapter (UAP-BC) paid a courtesy call on Consul General Gina A. Jamoralin at the Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver on 20 August 2025.
During the meeting, UAP-BC officers shared the history of how the Chapter was formed and highlighted their activities over the years. They explained that the Chapter’s mission is to protect the interests of UAP members in British Columbia and within its jurisdiction, while also promoting the values of professionalism, integrity, and service among Filipino architects.
The officers likewise discussed their goals of strengthening their network, providing mentorship opportunities, and supporting both their members and the wider Filipino-Canadian community.
Consul General Jamoralin welcomed the visit and commended UAP-BC for its efforts in building a strong professional community of Filipino architects in British Columbia. She noted that the Consulate looks forward to collaborating with UAP-BC on initiatives that not only promote Filipino architects but also benefit the broader Filipino community in the province. END
