Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver Continues Efforts to Make Services Accessible to Overseas Filipinos in a Saturday Mobile Registration and Consular Services in Langley, BC

24 July 2021 – The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver conducted a one-day, Saturday mobile registration and consular services in Langley, BC in partnership with the United Filipino Canadian Associations in British Columbia (UFCABC) and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Langley, BC.

The Vancouver PCG team composed of Consul General Maria Andrelita S. Austria, Consul Ericka Anna T. Abad, Cultural Officer Ma. Lyra E. Ocampo, Consular Assistant Mary Ann E. Macaranas-Jurado, Property Officer Michael G. Yturriaga, Finance Officer Irene Pilar T. Mendoza, Consular Assistant Kenneth C. Joya, Consular Assistant Christina D. Aquino and Consular Assistant Arnel A. Anacion rendered a total of 78 consular services and registered and updated the records of a total of 60 new and existing overseas voters for the 2022 Philippine national elections. The team was joined by POLO Assistant Labor Attaché Oliva Macawili, POLO Administrative Staff Charmaine Mercado, OWWA Administrative Staff Lorraine B. Raymundo and SSS Representative Jonnah Cruzada who attended to various queries on OEC issuance, contract verification, OWWA membership and SSS Membership.
