The outreach mission offered a full suite of services ranging from passport applications, notarial services, civil registration, and NBI clearance applications. In addition, MWO Vancouver also verified employment contracts, while SSS Vancouver facilitated Annual Confirmation of Pensioner (ACOP) processes and verified records of registered SSS members.
All in all, the outreach mission rendered 209 consular and other services. The outreach mission was also able to register 167 overseas voters during the same weekend.
The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver has consular jurisdiction in British Columbia, Yukon, and Northwest Territories. Due to the geographical spread of overseas Filipinos across these three provinces and territories, the Consulate regularly mounts consular outreach missions in these areas to make consular services more accessible to clients outside the Greater Vancouver area.
