Philippine Consulate and POLO-Vancouver Hold Simultaneous Saturday Consular Services and TFW Convention in Langley

The Philippine Consulate team provides consular services to the Filipino community in Langley and nearby areas, including those from Washington, U.S.A., during its second Saturday Service for the year.

More than 50 participants were welcomed to the TFW Convention held at Eureka Masonic Hall in Langley by Consul General Maria Andrelita S. Austria (left photo) and Deputy Executive Director Khim Tan (right photo) of Options Community Services, which partnered with POLO-Vancouver in organizing the Convention.

Ms. Marina Sedai (left photo) of the Sedai Law Office speaks about the Agri-Food Immigration Pilot as a new pathway to permanent residency in Canada, followed by Dr. Virendra Sharma (right photo) of the Fraser Health Authority, who discussed information on adult vaccination and the Corona Virus.

The TFW Convention ended with an immunization clinic conducted by the Fraser Health Authority, in cooperation with the Life Connect Pharmacy. Eighteen participants availed themselves of free immunization shots for the Flu, Shingles and Tetanus.
