VANCOUVER, 20 April 2026 – Deputy Consul General Paul Vincent Uy attended the first founding anniversary celebration of the True North Hinirang Eagles which was held at the St. Patrick Gymnasium on 18 April 2026. He conveyed the congratulatory message of Consul General Gina Jamoralin to the Eagles, recognizing that in just one year, the club has soared to impressive heights embodying the true spirit of the Fraternal Order of Eagles through its “Service Through Brotherhood.” He also commended the leadership of Club President James Mark Villamayor and all the members for not only strengthening the bonds within the Filipino community but also for being exemplary partners in local Canadian society.
Several Filcom leaders, such as BC Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker & MLA Mable Elmore, joined the celebration and also gave their respective congratulatory messages. Awarding of certificates as well as remarks by the club’s leaders preceded the fellowship dinner with singing and dancing.
