29 November 2023, Richmond, BC - Consul General Arlene Magno headed Team Vancouver PCG at the 2023 ASEAN Family Day Bowling Games held at the Splitsville Riverport in Richmond, British Columbia on 24 November 2023.
The Family Day Bowling Games brought together diplomats and their families from five ASEAN Consulates General in Vancouver (ACGV) for a day of friendly competition and camaraderie. Chaired by the Consulate of Malaysia, the event proved to be a resounding success, where participants engaged in spirited matches, displaying not only their athletic skills but also the spirit of unity that defines the ASEAN community.
The members of the Philippine Consulate team clinched five of the six individual awards for the highest scorers in the male and female categories. The bowling tournament is part of the ACGV’s continuous efforts to foster engagement and friendship among the ASEAN families.
ACGV is comprised of five ASEAN Member States: Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Viet Nam. END
