Vancouver BC, 11 June 2025 – The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) led by Atty. Elvira V. Estanislao, Senior Vice President for Corporate Services paid a courtesy call on Consul General Gina A. Jamoralin at the Consulate on 11 June 2025.
The courtesy visit was held at the sidelines of the BCDA’s participation in the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) World Conference 2025 on 08 to 11 June 2025 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Vancouver. The BCDA was recognized by the IABC with a Gold Quill of Excellence Award for its 2023 Annual Report, “One Clark” on 10 June 2025. The BCDA earned international recognition as the only Philippine government agency to receive the 2025 Gold Quill Award of Excellence from the IABC.
Widely regarded as one of the highest honors in global business communication, the Gold Quill Award celebrates exemplary achievements and best practices across diverse industries and sectors worldwide. This award underscores the BCDA’s dedication to strategic communication, transparency in public service, and excellence in government reporting on both national and international stages.
During the courtesy visit, the BCDA apprised the Consulate of its ongoing projects and initiatives, and expressed interest in exploring avenues for collaboration to jointly promote investment opportunities in the Philippines. END
