VANCOUVER, CANADA, 16 September 2026 – The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver in collaboration with the Department of Tourism (DOT), the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB), Rajah Tours, Philippine Airlines and Philippine Foreign Service Posts across Canada and the United States hosted an online launch event showcasing Winter Escapade 2027: Very Important Pinoy (VIP) Tour Edition, scheduled for February 7 to 17, 2027.
This special iteration brings together Canada’s Winter Escapade and the United States’ Very Important Pinoy Tour into a unified homecoming experience.
During the online presentation, Consul Andre Peter C. Estanislao on behalf of Consul General Dr. Gina A. Jamoralin highlighted the cultural and economic significance of the program:
"Winter Escapade 2027 is more than just a tour—it is a celebration of our shared identity and a bridge connecting the Filipino diaspora across North America to the heart of our motherland. By reuniting our flagship initiatives from Canada and the United States, we offer our participants an extraordinary itinerary to rediscover the warmth, hospitality, and rich heritage of the Philippines while actively contributing to local tourism communities."
Following the opening remarks, key industry partners presented the comprehensive features of the 2027 program:
- Itinerary, Schedule, and Pricing Overview: Mr. Jose C. Clemente III (Jojo Clemente), President and CEO of Rajah Tours, presented the complete tour itinerary, schedule of events, and package rates. He outlined the land arrangements, inclusive meals, guided heritage tours, and hassle-free transfers designed to ensure a seamless travel experience for all participants.
- Exclusive Airline Partner Rates: Mr. Allan Coo, Country Manager (Canada) of Philippine Airlines (PAL), announced special discounted airfares exclusively available to registered participants of Winter Escapade 2027. He detailed the promotional flight options and booking guidelines offered by the flag carrier to support attendees traveling from across Canada.
