In commemoration of the 10th Anniversary of the 2016 South China Sea Arbitral Award, the Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver, with funding support from the Department of Foreign Affairs – Maritime and Ocean Affairs Office (DFA-MOAO), invites you to a lecture series featuring Filipino historian and Ateneo de Manila University Sen Gil J. Puyat Professor of History Dr. Ambeth Ocampo.
Dr. Ocampo will examine how centuries of cartography and mapmaking reflect the historical evolution, national identity, and geographic consciousness of the Philippine archipelago.
