ADVISORY NO. 2026-015: MOBILE OVERSEAS VOTING REGISTRATION
In view of the celebration of the 31st Philippine Migrant Workers Day, the Philippine Consulate General in partnership with the Migrant Workers Office (MWO) in Vancouver is pleased to announce that it will hold a mobile overseas voting registration for the 2028 Philippine National Elections at St. Mary’s Parish, 5251 Joyce Street, Vancouver, British Columbia on 13 June 2026, Saturday, from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
Who is qualified to register as OV?
– A citizen of the Philippines, not otherwise disqualified by law
– At least 18 years old on or before 08 May 2028 (Election Day)
– Former Filipino who reacquired Philippine citizenship by virtue of RA 9225 or Citizenship Retention & Re-acquisition Act of 2003 (Dual Citizenship Act)
– Filipino permanent residents,
– Filipino who will be residing, working, or studying in Canada by 08 May 2028
Please prepare the following documents prior to registration:
1. Valid Philippine Passport;
– In the absence of a valid passport, a Certification of the Consulate.
2. For dual citizens: Original or Certified True Copy of the Order of Approval of Filipino citizenship or Identification Certificate.
3. For seafarers: Seafarer’s Identification Record Book (Seafarer’s Book).
