What documents should I submit as a first time adult passport applicant with delayed registered birth?
14 July 2016 – The Department of Foreign Affairs has announced that first time adult passport applicants with delayed registered birth are required to submit the following additional supporting documents, in original format:
a. Sequential or “growing-up” photos;
b. Additional identification cards, e.g. old drivers license, old employment id, student id, old social club membership, etc.;
c. Documentary evidence to show use of full name, e.g. payslips, bank statements, college registration, etc.;
d. Evidence of registry of the applicant’s address in the passport application form, e.g. utility bills, official correspondence from public or private sector, etc.
Applicants may also be required to be interviewed by a Consular Officer and provide further information to establish identity.
