What documents should I submit if I wish to renew my green or MRP (passport number starting with “XX”) booklet?

​​​​​​​​​​The Philippine Consulate General is located inside the World Trade Center Office Complex at 999 Canada Place, at Suite 660 (6th floor), Vancouver, B.C. V6C 3E1

The Consulate is open from:

  • 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (Monday to Friday)
  • 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (every last Friday of each month)​ except on Philippine and Canadian holidays.

​​​​​Effective 01 July 2016, all application for passport renewal of holders of green or MRP (Machine Readable Passport; Passport Number starting with “XX”) shall be required to submit the original and photocopy of the following documents, in addition to the usual requirements for passport renewal:

1. Actual MRP (passport number starting with "XX") / green booklet;
2. PSA-Authenticated Birth Certificate (PSA-formerly NSO);
3. At least one (1) valid identification document, and
4. Other supporting documents as may be required by the processor. (i.e. PSA-MC if married and using married surname, etc.)


Vancouver applicants may pay in exact amount in cash or by money order/bank draft payable to the Philippine Consulate General.

Applicants in an Outreach Program MUST pay by MONEY ORDER or BANK DRAFT only, payable to the Philippine Consulate General.
