10 April 2019 – The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver successfully conducted the final testing and sealing (FTS) of the six Vote Counting Machines (VCMs) assigned to the Consulate at its Reception Area, from 5:20 p.m. of 9 April 2019 to 3:00 a.m. of 10 April 2019. The FTS, which was conducted to test the integrity of the machines, was performed by Consulate personnel who have been deputized as elections officials by the Philippine Commission on Elections. All six VCMs, which included contingency VCMs, successfully passed the diagnostic tests and the Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver is now ready to accept ballots for the 2019 Philippine National and Local Elections.
