Notice to Passport Applicants
Personal appearance is required for all passport applicants.
Applicants are encouraged to book an appointment online for their convenience.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: LATEST ADVISORY ON PASSPORT APPLICATIONS
Pursuant to instructions from the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver wishes to inform the public of the following updated requirements for passport applications, effective 01 January 2018:
FOR ADULT APPLICANTS (18 YEARS OLD AND ABOVE)
FOR MINOR APPLICANTS (BELOW 18 YEARS OLD)

The Consulate requests the cooperation of the public in completing the said requirements to avoid delays in passport processing.
We also take this opportunity to inform the public that effective 01 January 2018, the Department of Foreign Affairs will issue regular/ordinary passports with a validity of ten (10) years for Filipino citizens who are eighteen (18) years old and above.
Regular/ordinary passports with a validity of five (5) years will continue to be issued for minors below eighteen (18) years of age.
The public is advised to secure their passports prior to booking their flights. Flight bookings should ONLY be made if passports are still valid for at least six (6) months from expiry date.
Personal appearance is required for all applicants.
All applicants are required to wear decent clothing for passport photo-capture. Plunging necklines, sleeveless clothing, off-shoulder and spaghetti-strapped blouses, see-through blouses, tube tops, halters and the like are prohibited. Jewelry, contact lenses, heavy make-up and false eyelashes, and facial piercings (lip, nose, eyebrow and the like) are not allowed during photo-capturing.
